Today was my last day at Bonefish Grill and its finally hit me :( I miss you guys!!!!! Im so excited to be going back to school and opening a new chapter in my life but I must say, this is the hardest job to leave! A year and a half ago Dean hired me and he promised me that one of the experiences I would gain would be a sense of belonging. He stated that we were like a family. I remember smiling and nodding lol because I thought I was just getting another restaurant job and I thought I was just there for the money. Hehe. I had no idea what he was talking about. :) I get it now! Never in my life have I met and had the opportunity to be part of such an amazing team. I know this post must sound ridiculously cheesy and Im normally not compelled to write these long posts but its all true! Never before have I worked with so many incredible people under one roof. I have enjoyed every single day with each of you and I think thats more than what most people can say about their jobs so I know Im blessed! The professionalism, sense of humor, teamwork, energy, and love at BFG is tremendous! Sure I will miss parts of the job itself but what I will really miss is the people Ive gotten to know and love. :) You guys arent like a family to me.. You Are family. So Im not going to be sad... because I may be leaving the four walls of the building but Im not really leaving Bonefish at all. ;) Once an Angler, always an Angler lol! :)
