Today was the first day of comp preparation...mind you, its not strict..yet. I did have a beer as it is 17394 degrees and it would be un-Australian if I didnt. I started the day with my usual, coffee - no sugar, gluten free toast with peanut butter (for energy), Greek yoghurt and toasted muesli. I eat big, because its the best time to fuel up. After brekkie I decided to go down to the track to do some sprints. Mainly because its a public holiday and Im too lazy to drive to the gym. Sprints burn serious calories, give you abs and a round butt...why would you not include this in your weekly routine? 5 x 300m (80% pace) 5 x 50m sprints 4 x 70m sprints 3 x 100m sprints 2 x 200m sprints 1 x 300m sprint (thats a lie...there was no sprinting there...I was lucky to be running at 75% as I was stuffed). The rest of the day I worked then relaxed and caught up with family. Currently feeling like Ill be sore tomorrow....but feeling good :)
