Today we, as people of Scotland, will have a chance to make history by putting a small cross in a box, its as simple as that. What is not simple is our reasons for doing so. I started off a year ago thinking that independence was dangerous and pointless for our country, however, after careful consideration I decided that that was not the case. Yes, I agree that the decision to go independent is risky, however, so is the decision to stay as part of the union. The simple decision is between taking a risk with people who care about Scotland or people who dont. I personally have nothing against the people of the rest of the UK and I hate the fact that we may be leaving them, yet the issue runs deeper than that. We live in a society ruled by a corrupt government and an even more corrupt media, to hell with democracy as I dont believe we ever see that in Scotland from Westminster. However, come Friday if there is a no vote we may see that they actually know what the word means. With a no vote we will probably see a vote in Westminster over new powers for Scotland which, after reading several articles on the matter, I believe will be met with a resounding no from the English politicians, who have already said that it would cause unrest in the rest of the UK if Scotland were to be given more powers. With an independent Scotland we will always be governed by the right people for the job...people of Scotland, people who we vote for and people who care about the country. All I can say before I stop posting about this referendum forever is that when you make your choice tomorrow, whichever way that is, is that you are sure that you know what your vote means and that you dont regret it for the rest of your life. When Britain goes bust, which it will (over £1 Trillion in debt with borrowing and interest rates on this money already much higher than earnings), dont regret the fact that you voted to stay part of the UK instead of voting for the country which has made money in each of the last 7 years. This is the first and last time I will say this...Vote Yes. #indyref
