Today we carried on an office tradition of all the staff going out for a birthday lunch to celebrate with those whose birthday it is that month. Our Staff member chose Red Robin and while I have seent his resteraunt a few hundred times I had only been once before. Well the service and the food was fantastic. Unfortunately I am trying very hard to eat well and avoid carbs so I had to leave the bottomless fries alone but boy did they smell great, especially the ones with garlic and cheese that all of the staff were chowing down on. It was awesome becuase they served my burger in a lettuce wrap instead of a bun and it tasted great. Skip the fries and add some black beans and my meal was awesome. Apparently Red Robin has been around as Red Ronin for some 16,425 days (give or take as they opened the doors of their first resteraunt in Seattle Washington in 1969. Prior to 1969 the resteraunt was named Sams red Robin after its owner who just happened to love signing the song When the Red Red Robin comes bob bob bobiin along. Sam sold the resteraunt in 1969 and it became officially know as Red Robin. Originally just a tevern the new owner added 20 differetn burgers and sales began to grow. After ten years he began to franchise teh Resteraunt which is why we are able to enjoy one of those famous burgers right here in Beavercreek. My staff have often talked about this resteraunt with great joy and I would tease them saying how good can it be it is just a burger joint but it is one heck of a burger joint. We had a great time today and the service could not have been any better. If yo have never visited Red Robin I would recommned it and if you are able to eat freely enjoy those garlic cheese fries for me....1035
