Today we heard from former Secretary of State Henry Kissinger in a rare public forum ...Mr Kissinger now 91 years old is without a doubt our senior elder and most respect voice on foreign affairs and policy . Regardless of your perspective and whether or not I agree with his politics and policies ....He is well worth listening to ...In todays USA interview he says a few very important things first we must Strike hard to dismantle Islamic State terrorists .....second lets carefully define our goals and objectives to avoid another endless conflict ....third that we set aside political agendas and support the president should he pursue a military objective at this moment for the sake of unity ....fourth carefully consider our involvement and exit strategy in Afghanistan or we may open ourselves up to more problems finally lets consider the options with Russia and the Ukraine and diplomatically bring these parties to the table .
