Today we just finished the installation of state of the art audio recording equipment and recording booth at our now home PRIDE ROCK MUSIC INC. We will be Zimbabwes first dedicated capacity building organisation for the music Industry.Pride Rock will conduct a range of capacity building and business development initiatives in the music industry with different partners.Musicians are looked upon with a prejudice and generally not taken as very serious professional people. This has resulted in the severe underdevelopment of and stunted growth in the arts industry. In Zimbabwe, there is a limited amount of dedicated platforms for the cross cutting support of music. As a result, many artists with talent are forced to abandon their artists capabilities and adopt some formalised white collar job much to the detriment of the development of music. PRIDE ROCK MUSIC INC will be opening its doors in two weeks and will be located at 149 Kwameh Nkrumah Avenue Harare Zimbabwe.
