Today we mark our calendars in remembrance that it has been 2 years since the day Brandon was taken from us. He was taken away and we still do not know why nor do we have peace. I feel it deep in my heart that someone knows what happened, and is carrying around this burden. I send up prayers and hope they are answered soon and plead with you to please come forward and tell the truth, so we can have peace. I hate the fact that my baby boy was taken from us too soon, but I do not hate you, whoever you are. Whoever you are I forgive you for taking Brandon and causing his family so much pain, grief and suffering. I forgive you for thinking you had the right to kill my son and cause this mother to have to bury her son. I forgive you for all the sleepless nights that every one of his family, friends and loved ones have had over the last 730 days. I forgive you for all the countless past, present and future memories that Brandon will not able to physically share with us because we all know he was there in spirit. No one knows the pain that I feel and hide behind mask I call a smile each and every day, a mask that is slowly cracking and getting harder and harder to hide behind a smile. Your legacy will continue and live on in your son. He is growing up so fast and looks more and more like you each and every day. He speaks of you fondly so do your nephews. I thank the Lord they have those memories of you to cherish. I see little signs that you are near all the time which brings smile to my face. I miss you so much, I would give anything to hear your voice and to hear you say “hey Baby, what’s good? Or I’m right around the corner Ma.” I know we will meet again one day and that you are watching over us as a guardian Angel. I vow to do all in my power to fight for justice and to close this chapter of our lives, not resting till I do. Gone but NEVER forgotten I love and miss you always………
