Today we organised a guide to take us to a township outside of Lisbon called Evora. We drove over the Longest bridge in Europe, the Vasco da Gama Bridge, which is 17 kgs long and accommodating 6 lanes of traffic...was great to drive a couple of hours into the countryside, passing vineyards, cork tree plantations and cattle grazing country...inside Evora is an old walled city dating back a thousand years to the Moors...the streets were colourful with alleyways, paved roads and paths, street band, cork ware and ceramic shops....wonderful
