Read our full write-up at cpr2014.org Here is our prayer for the week: This week we pray for the students, parents and faculty from Sandy Hook Elementary: Father, As many of us watched the news and heard the reports regarding Sandy Hook Elementary school, we could not believe the level of evil and loss. We come today asking for your continued comfort, peace, strength, protection and provision for every family who lost a loved one, the teachers and staff of Sandy Hook, as well as, the community of Newton, Connecticut. Father, the level of fear and doubt this incident put in the hearts of people everywhere is just one of many across this country and beyond. We pray today for every child who goes to school in fear. We pray for every child who has lost a friend due to violent crimes. We pray for our government and the decisions they will make regarding gun control and security in our schools. We pray our students will pray and cover their schools daily sharing their faith, and revealing your presence and your power to others students. We ask you to heal every broken heart, mend relationships, rebuild the community and reach the world with love. We know you hear us when we pray. In Jesus name, Amen
