Today we will be discussing genetic disorders. Common disorders include Trisomy 21, Trisomy 13, Trisomy 18, Prader-Willi Syndrome, Angelman Syndromei, Phenylketonuria (PKU), Fragile X Syndrome, Achondroplasia and Neurofibromatosis. There are many genetic disorders that can cause a baby complications that require neonatal intensive care. Although it would be nearly impossible to cover all genetic disorders today, we would like to hear your voice and share your insight. Has your child been impacted by a genetic disorder?
