Today were going to take a little trip with Tallahassee. For the new fans, Tallahassee is an LBR Keeper, meaning we know she will never be adopted. Most of our Keeper dogs are seniors or have chronic illnesses that would prevent them from being adopted. But not Tallahassee. Tallie was really just a baby when we got her, at about a year old. She isnt sick, but she was, for lack of a better term, feral. One volunteer described her as a mystical being, like a unicorn, and I think that sums it up nicely. We tend to not update often on the Keepers in LBRs care, but felt the need to share Tallies story with our fans again. Her story is one of love, trust and perseverance, and she holds a special place in our hearts for being the wonderful, mystical being she is.
