.... Today while attending a funeral I encountered a gentleman who pledged another fraternity. He pledged at North Carolina A&T in 1953. While he spent the majority of time telling me I pledged the wrong organization -- I on the other hand, tried to congratulate him for 60-years of service in his fraternity. He also identified a very prominent member of our Cleveland community who was in attendance - and also criticized him for not joining his fraternal organization. Hmmmmm........ Anyone who pledged a black Greek-lettered organization hopefully was doing so to better society. I dont care what colors you wear - if you were following the lead of your Founders, we should all have the same intent of making a difference in the lives of others.
