Today, whilst navigating my way along Nicholson St,I noticed a shiny red Honda Insult glide up next to me. The driver then put his indicator on and steered said noddy car into my lane.I sounded my horn in an attempt to alert him to my presence, but he kept on coming.I couldnt swerve out oh his way,so was forced to initiate a severe braking/profanity maneuver. He waved me off dismissively and finished cutting me off.ANGRY BOB!!! As luck would have it,a short distance along the way,the lights changed and I found myself pulled up alongside him again.Naturally,I rolled the passenger window down and asked him if he knew any road rules. He informed me that ,as he had his indicator on , I was obliged to get out of his way. When the red haze cleared,I tried to remind him that when changing lanes,he must not only indicate his intentions , but give way to any vehicles in the lane he was merging into. The conversation that followed consisted mostly of me trying to offer my sympathy at his lack of knowledge of the identity of his father(s),his choice of vehicle, and the strong likelihood that his driving skills,or lack thereof, would be the cause of a demise to which I now looked forward to with great anticipation. The swarthy heathen eventually escaped my gentle admonishments by screaming off just before the lights changed to green. What skill he displayed! I followed him as far as Burke St,where I turned right. I turned left on Exhibition St,heading for the freeway.Guess who I saw on the corner of Flinders Strasse ,exchanging details with a driver he had obviously just clipped performing what I must assume is his signature maneuver. It seems you can ignore the law , but justice is a whole other matter. I wanted to pause and thank him for a strongly reaffirming experience , but I just gave him a wave and suggested he wipe the semen off his chin before he got home.
