Today would have been my husband’s 84th birthday. (He never wanted everybody to know his age because there was 14 years difference in our ages) Did not matter to me though. He’s been gone more than a year and a half now, but he is with me (and will be) every day of my life. He was my “soul mate”, my best friend, my lover, my sweetheart. We would bicker and, it would seem...argue to others, but we always, always loved each other no matter what! Even when I was SO MAD at him, we would still be best friends. I miss him dearly but am so happy to have so many wonderful sweet, funny and sentimental memories of him. I’m not usually so open with my deepest feelings, but what the heck, it’s his birthday! If you ever hear the Sinatra song "Somewhere in Your Heart" think of us...it was "our song".
