Today would have been my motherss birthday . It is hard to believe it has been 5 years since her passing. Today I thought it would be fun to tell a Carol Jean (my mother) story that I was reminded of while in San Francisco. One time when we were in San Francisco my younger brother Dale was walking on a planter wall near Fishermans Warf and she kept telling him to get down. Finally, she saw him up on the wall and smacked him on the back of the head, only problem was it was not Dale, but some child that looked like Dale from the back and when he turned around and started crying and my mom realized it was not her son she started to apologize to the parents showing the back of Dales head and how they looked the same. They just gave her a dirty look and left. We teased my mom for years on that one. Love you mom. As always we did a toast to my mother this evening.
