Todays #365songs365days is inspired by todays release of the 2015 New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival lineup, which includes Vieux Farka Touré, one of my favorite currently-performing musicians in the world. Hes the son of Ali Farka Toure, but hes been out there for many years now making his own name. Theres so much good stuff in his catalogue to choose from (and do check out The Touré-Raichel Collective stuff, which Im sure Ill choose from before this year is out), but this song is one of my faaaaavorites.
