Todays Daily News article on the Moreland Commission illustrates State Senator Kleins duality on the crucial issue of public corruption: Plus, Silver, Skelos and Klein hung tough, fighting the commission’s subpoenas in a court battle that was sure to drag on for months, and might well have ended in defeat for Cuomo’ commission. Silver, Skelos and Klein strengthened some anti-corruption laws. But they and their colleagues can still keep secrets about their outside income.
