Todays Devotion Topic: Protected Text: 2Thess 3: 3 (ASV) But the Lord is faithful, who shall establish you, and guard you from the evil one. AMEN The mean old devil can try his worse everyday we are still more than conquerors through Christ. He can set traps against us on every side. Dig ditches around us, cover them with grass and patiently in vain for our fall. This is because he that dwelleth in the secret place of the Most High, abides under the shadow of the Almighty. And Surely the Lord will deliver us from the snare of the fowler, and from the noisome pestilence. We shall not be afraid of the darkness anymore. We shall not walk defeated even before we get on the battle field. We shall no longer fall for lies of Satan. When the wicked advance against us to devour us, they will stumble and fall because we are covered by the blood. What shall we say to these things then, Brethren: if God be for us who can be against us. You know how we used to be afraid of the activities they do at night while we sleep. Well not anymore, because He that watches over Israel neither slumbers nor sleeps. He is a pillar of cloud around us by day and a pillar of cloud by night. This is the confidence we have in approaching God: that if we ask anything according to his will, He hears us. (1 John 5: 14) So we pray everyday for His protection and leave the rest for him. Guess what, He keeps us safe and secured from ALL alarms. All Gods Children are safe in the shadow of His wings, the devil cant hurt us. If you have been able to read todays devotions, it means His grace has kept you. Rise up, lets make our way to the house of the Lord and give Him the glory, great things He has done.
