Todays Founders Day was nostalgic and beautiful. A big thank you to our reunion co-ordinators, Old Girls Hockey Team and our First Team, Miss Potgieter for organising the hockey, the juniors and the junior school teachers for the formation of I love RC, the tea from the Grade 4s, Mrs Ferreira and a committee,Mrs Stroebel and Dr Boucher for the birthday eats, the RCL for the handing out of the birthday treats, the prefects for the ushering, Mr Weidemann, Ziva Isaacs and Roche Kramer for the photographs, Francesca Gottini and the magazine committee for the magazine display and selling, the Computer club for manning the database, the girls who helped wash up, the flower displays by Miss Arthur, the lunch organised by Mrs Stear, the special guests who joined us and the staff who pulled together to make this a wonderful reunion. Thank you to the Class of 1989 for their gift to the school and to the Class of 2004 for the beautiful framed photograph of the late Amanda Forrest. Thank you, Manali Kapadia, Smiely and Laaiqua Panday for the visuals and Jessica Hurter, Mr Calitz and Mr Jonas for the sound. Mrs Panayiotous powerpoint of photographs and lovely music at the start of the assembly was much appreciated. The choirs performance was amazing. Our guest speaker delighted with her story of how different the world was in 1974 and her trip down memory lane - the audience thoroughly enjoyed her sincere and enjoyable speech.
