Todays Mid-Week Sermon Todays Text - 1 Samuel 15:24 And Saul said unto Samuel, I have sinned: for I have transgressed the commandment of the Lord, and thy words: because I feared the people, and obeyed their voice. Todays Theme - Fear God Not Man In todays society, we fear so many things, the lost of a job, business, home, car, life, etc, sometimes these fear out weigh our faith and confidence in God, we start trusting more in things, and our own abilities instead of seeking God. Now on your job always keep your Christian values, do not bow no matter what, even if it will cause you your job, also in a relationship, to keep your home, your car, your freedom, even your life, or whatever it is you may think is important to you, make sure you obey God over man, regardless of what may happen, and know It will work out for your good. Remember the fear of man is always a short-term gain, but Gods plan is for life, dont mess up those plans, be wise, if you say you love God, you must obey everything he say, not just what you want to obey, but all his words, and commandments, because he knows whats best for each one of us, Amen. In closing Back in 1 Samuel 15:3-9 God gave word to Saul to go to the city of amalek and kill everything, and spare nothing, but Saul did his own thing, he did not completely obey God, he did not destroy king Agag and the good looking animals, because he feared man and not God. (Read the whole story and see what happen to Saul for his disobedience) 1 Samuel 3:1-32. When you do not completely obey all of Gods word, you are out of order! you are in sin! You shame God! and you need to repent! Amen! And there are also consequences to pay! for not obeying God! you can loose all what God has for you, strip down, and demoted! Then eventually die and go to HELL! Amen! Like Always Take That With You
