Todays SOAP :: 6/16/14 S: Proverbs 16:19 It is better to be of a lowly spirit with the poor than to divide the spoil with the proud. O: It is better to be humble and poor than to be rich and proud. A: It reminds me of the message Pastor Greg spoke of yesterday. The people of Guatemala have so little and struggle living day to day, but their faith in God is strong and clear. While we tend to get wrapped up and become so proud of the life we are accustomed to here in America that it can be almost easy for us to doubt, question or have little faith because there is so much that we have. P: Dear God, I pray that my muddy faith is cleared and that I put my trust into You whole-heartedly. I thank You for the blessings that You have given and ask to help me be more humble and not take for granted the things that You have blessed me with. Amen.
