Todays Scripture(s) - Psalm 106:3 Blessed are they that keep judgment, and he that doeth righteousness at all times. Sin is sin, no matter how we may try to dress it up. No matter how we may try to justify it, sin IS sin. God the Father is going to judge our sins if we do not repent of our sins, period, (repent means to turn away from). There is no in between, all sin has a price and it will be paid. Romans 6:23 For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord. There is no other way to the Father but through the Son, Jesus Christ. Do not let the enemy fool you. Do not allow your ears to hear what the world is saying. The world tells us, the world tells our children, the world tells our young men and young women, the world tells our old men and old women, the world tries to tell us all that there are many ways to get to God the Father. THERE IS ONLY ONE WAY TO THE FATHER: John 14:6 Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me. Jesus is the doorway that leads to eternal life with God the Father Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that entereth not by the door into the sheepfold, but climbeth up some other way, the same is a thief and a robber. (John 10:1) Then said Jesus unto them again, Verily, verily, I say unto you, I am the door of the sheep. All that ever came before me are thieves and robbers: ... (John 10:7-8a). Jesus laid down His life for the sheep, for US. When we accept Him our sins our covered and we are able to come ...boldly to the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need. (see Hebrews 4:16). This does not give us a license to sin. Romans 6:1-2 What shall we say then? Shall we continue in sin, that grace may abound? God forbid. How shall we, that are dead to sin, live any longer therein? We are expected not to continue to practice sin once we have accepted the Lord Jesus Christ into our lives. When we accept Him and make Him Lord of our lives we are to look to His word by the power of the Holy Ghost to guide us and lead us to all truth. If we do not read the Word of God, if we do not hear the Word of God, if we do not pray and ask for understanding in His word we do ourselves a disservice and we will find ourselves in a state of backsliding, we will find ourselves in a state of sin and remember what the wages of sin is. Do not be deceived: Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap. (Galatians 6:7). This must be made very clear: If I regard iniquity in my heart, the Lord will not hear me: (Psalm 66:18). Look at Isaiah 59:2, iniquity comes between us and God and our sins will hide our faces from Him and He will not hear us. God the Father will not hear the prayers of a sinful man, woman, boy or girl. Want to be blessed of God, do what is right, do what is right at all times, keep what is right in your heart, IF you make a rea mistake, go to the Lord, ask for forgiveness, repent of the sin and move forward in doing what is right, doing what the Word of Lord says in obedience, in meekness and with a humble heart.
