Todays cup of wisdom: Hate, sinners slander and gossip Dear brothers and sisters Praise God Almighty and may you be abundantly blessed in Jesus name! Amen!~ Do not miss out on what your Heavenly Father has for you today. God has said that your enemy is cunning and you must be ALERT! 1 Peter 5:8-9King James Version (KJV) 8 Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour: 9 Whom resist stedfast in the faith, knowing that the same afflictions are accomplished in your brethren that are in the world. I have seen far too many messages and posts here on facebook from Christian brothers and sisters that are argumentative, or condemning in nature. Look at verse 9 again... Do you not know that the same affliction of sin that without Jesus would condemn us all to death affects each human? This means all men who were indeed created by the hand of God, in his image and for his pleasure and purpose. Genesis 1:27King James Version (KJV) 27 So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them. Colossians 1:16King James Version (KJV) 16 For by him were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether they be thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers: all things were created by him, and for him: Yes this means ALL MEN! Not just your best friend, not just your friends at church, your brothers and sisters in Christ, but those who do things you detest. God Hates sin! ALL SIN! Here is a verse for you: Proverbs 6:16-19King James Version (KJV) 16 These six things doth the Lord hate: yea, seven are an abomination unto him: 17 A proud look, a lying tongue, and hands that shed innocent blood, 18 An heart that deviseth wicked imaginations, feet that be swift in running to mischief, 19 A false witness that speaketh lies, and he that soweth discord among brethren. Ask yourself if the things you say or do are any of these things? According to Gods word we are ALL SINNERS! If we say we are not.. we are a liar! 1 John 1:8English Standard Version (ESV) 8 If we say we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us. Avoid such people. This is wisdom from above! PRAISE ALMIGHTY GOD! Our calling is not to slander our leaders,( all of whom God puts in place) to call out those made in Gods image in front of our peers ( all of whom are sinners just like ourselves) , to cause arguments, to gossip, to spread propaganda or lies, to speak any unedifying talk with our lips. Beware the enemy! Instead of talking about the evil spirits that dwell among us, how about we talk to them in The NAME OF JESUS! Jesus came to save the sinner... he didnt talk about them, spread rumors, as a matter of fact when he sat with the sinners,, the so called righteous gossiped behind his back! WHO NEEDS A PHYSICIAN? I know I do, every single minute of every day for the rest of my life! And my faith is in God that the work he does in me, he shall do in all who call upon his name! Hence my objective is to speak of the good things he has done for me, the way he has changed my life, the power His word has given me, not the horrible things others are doing! My opinion of others does not matter! And nor does any mans opinion of me matter! GODs opinion is the only one that matters! Jesus is the King, he is on the throne and that is where our requests should be made! STRAIGHT TO THE HEAVENS! THIS IS WHERE OUR HELP COMES FROM! No man has the power to overcome sin alone, only Jesus has that power and all the glory is all his! We need to remain conscious of this fact! Our complaint is not going to make any difference in this world or the lives of others, but our PRAYER WILL! Love conqueres evil and sin is covered by Love! 1 Corinthians 15:55-57New Living Translation (NLT) 55 O death, where is your victory? O death, where is your sting?[a]” 56 For sin is the sting that results in death, and the law gives sin its power. 57 But thank God! He gives us victory over sin and death through our Lord Jesus Christ. WHERE IS THE LOVE? Without LOVE the message you share attached to these grumbling posts is like a noisy cymbal and your message is overshadowed by the hate attached to it. NO ONE HEARS! Jesus never said you have the job of saving this world, he said FISH! He cleans the fish, and HE ALONE CAN HAVE THE GLORY! Satan is very cunning and can work through the most practiced follower! The Bible says even the ELECT will be persuaded in the end times. WAKE UP AND OPEN YOUR EYES! You see the signs and you know the truth. If we turn even one away from him by preaching a message different than he taught we will be accursed! AAAAMEN! Jesus gave himself for our sins, that he might deliver us from this present evil world, THIS IS OUR MESSAGE! Our Faithful Savior never lets go of what is his! We need to be mindful of how we share the gospel. And love must be attached to our message. We can preach the truth in love and it will fall sometimes on good soil, sometimes not, but without love it will not be heard at all. You will know them by their fruits.. this is us… the beloved children of God, heirs to the kingdom, blessed receivers of the Holy Spirit of God, The word is our guide and without Jesus we would all be doomed! Nothing we could do or say could save us, nothing but the blood of Jesus! All men were created by Him and for Him. Have you seen any fruit for your labor? I pray that you have and that you will continue to see much fruit, that you will bless others and not curse them by giving life to their sin instead of letting Jesus have them so he can cover it! I pray that you will share the good news, there is enough bad news smothering the minds of the unsaved. We are all sinners, let us humble ourselves and remember the place we were before we had knowledge and understanding of our Savior. He will make all light shine on the darkness and lead all to the truth but in his time and not ours. I was led to his word and truth by the Holy Spirit, not any man, and all the glory is his! All I needed to say was Lord I need you! I pray God’s blessing upon this earth, upon his children, that we will all operate in love, that the Holy Spirit will guide our bodies, minds, thoughts and especially tongues, so that the word of God will spread far and wide among the inhabitants of the earth, His love will be shared and seen, and his glory will shine upon us all forever and ever!
