Many of us have probably wished that we could have experiened that evenful resurection day T odays verse shows us how the Lord appeared in the midst of His fearful disciples that evening with His greeting of Peace be with you. We can hardly imagine what it must have meant for the disciple to see their Lord among them. His hands and His side excluded any possibility of doubt as to His person. Any sadness in their despondent hearts must have given way to profound joy. The lord had promised I will see you again and your heart will rejoice and your joy no one will take from you.(ch.16,v.22).
