Todays rescue update and thankyous :) : Thankyou to: Judith Angell 50 euros (£42), Linda Atridge $20 USD (£12.65), Paul Choak £20, Linda Adams £10, Gill Lillie £20 and Irene Carus £20. Plus £200 Marianne Nohr Jorgensen has had donated to us to help transporting all these dogs and pups we are saving to their adoptive/foster homes/rescue places. Total now: £789 (plus £330 that is being paid by a fosterer and an adopter) = £1119. £1350 is needed to trasport the first 10. So only £231 to go! To be fundraised by Sept 24th. The 7 dogs and 2 puppies that I found sponsors for to go into safe shelter in Bucharest are doing well. I have one dog with me currently looking for a forever home...Bobitzu. Great with all dogs and kids, around 4 years old, has no teeth! and.....went off lead perfectly today :) so proud of him. Smaller medium sized boy. Please contact me if you are looking to adopt. On a personal, business note: I had the absolute pleasure of taking on a new customer yesterday for obedience training work....a dog rescued from Botosani public shelter around the time they killed so many in such a gruesome way there. I cannot describe how much of a pleasure it was to combine my passion for Romanian rescue and my passion for my job. These rommies get around!
