Todays three happy things. 1. Attended possibly the most packed baby shower of my life with my daughter, and had such a great time! Who knew smelling candy bars in diapers and oohing over adorable baby clothes could be so much fun? 2. Drove three hours to baby shower and three hours back, which meant ROAD TRIP! it was just my daughter and me. We cranked up Coldplay for the whole ride, and made it an adventure. On the way back we stopped in Davis for a late lunch and perusing the college town, filling our minds with thoughts of college in two years (so soon!). The drive was definitely a huge part of what made today so cool. 3. Capped off the day with a soak in the hot tub with my hubby and daughter, where we gabbed about everything. I think I laughed more today than any other day this week. Other highlights: - came home to a bouquet of roses and a new Dyson from my hubby. What a romantic! - was entertained by my dog as he chased his shadow for his whole evening walk. - had the BEST iced coffee at Whole Foods. Stray, what kind of crack do you guys put in your coffee to make it taste so good???? - three day weekend. Nuff said.
