Todays tiny house design tip is breaking the mold when it comes to stairs. The folks at NOMAD Micro Homes have broken from convention and essentially combined the kitchen with the stairwell. I might argue that the tread right above the stove is a tinsy bit low and that one would have a hard time installing a range hood (oh so important in a tiny house for moisture mitigation), however, overall I think its brilliant and a great use of space.
