Todays update - clinically she is doing very well, Eating and playing with the staff in the hospital. Her PCV dropped slightly to 25 but thats nothing to be concerned about because the babesia organism is still in her blood. I jumped the gun yesterday when I said she would have the medication by today and I apologize for that. The hospital ordered it and it will arrive on Monday. I know that seems long (feels like an eternity to us) but because of the cost of it most vets do not keep it on hand. Their distributors didnt even have it in stock, so they had to go to the manufacturer which adds the extra day. They were moving mountains to get it by Saturday but it will most likely get there Monday morning. She is under close watch and great care, and Ive been told she gets the most attention of any of the dogs... Because they all love her so much. Yep, so do all of us!!! Till tmrw everyone, hang in there. Shes almost home....
