Todays workout included a KB Jerk ladder and went something like this: 5x Single 10kg KB jerk (hold for 3 deep breaths in the rack position and 3 deep breaths in the overhead position) Lateral shuttle run Repeat on other side Lateral shuttle run We completed these with 12kg, 14kg, 16kg and 18kg bells. The deep breathing with holding the KBs both in the rack or overhead position is to train the brain and body to stay relaxed under load and the agility drills is to rehab my ankle and raise the HR slightly for the next set of Jerks. (In the video however I didnt demonstrate the hold and the jerks are quite rythmic). xxx Coach Nadine
