Todayssearch for Mulan was thet toughest day by far. Iy started - TopicsExpress

Todayssearch for Mulan was thet toughest day by far. Iy started with dehydrating heat. We set 2 traps in the area and started our search. About 20 minutes into the search we heard a cat meow 3 times. We started an intensive search near the sound. About 2 hours into the search it started raining heavily. So heavily that everything got flooded. The drains were full and there wasnt a dry patch. We also met a person who said he saw a black and white cat about 2 hours earlier . After intensive search and no luck we decided to head back home. One of the traps had an upset baby mongoose trying to get out. After releasing him we realised our jeep was stuck and wouldnt move. We tried putting stones under the tires to drive it out but again no luck. Luckily a tractor was driving by and the driver agreed to tow us to safer grounds. That process took about 30 mins. By then all the vilunteers were soaked to the bones . A cup of tea and some hot maggie in us we decided to head home. After about 15 mins we discovered we had a flat tyre. Again we offloaded and changed the tyre in the middle of a busy road. We do know now for sure Mulan is heading home. She is trying to cross the busy NH 8 into the bio diversity park that is behind shankar vihar and goes upto the shriram school in vasant vihar. Let us all keep her in our thoughts tonight as she tries navigating the highway
