Today’s Prayer Friday 1-24-14: Dear God, I am Thankful for the friends you have send into my life in times of need. Lifting up and strengthening me through their kind words and good deeds. In times of trouble, standing back-to-back with me, helping me through seasons of challenges and sorrow, showing me that I am not alone on my journey and God has angels walking amoung us. As it’s written in the book of “Ecclesiastes 4:12 one may be overpowered, two can defend themselves. “A cord of three strands is not quickly broken.” In the name of Jesus, Amen. Reflect on this today: 1 Samuel 20:42 (NIV) 42 Jonathan said to David, “Go in peace, for we have sworn friendship with each other in the name of the Lord, saying, ‘The Lord is witness between you and me, and between your descendants and my descendants forever.’” Then David left, and Jonathan went back to the town.
