Today’s feast strengthens us in the knowledge that while Jesus has gone; he is in heaven, he does intercede for us, he gives us a specific mission in the vocation of our life to fulfil and he has promised that he is with us until the end of time. The challenge for us is to live and walk in God’s presence, secure in his love because perfect love casts out fear and walking our journey at all times under the power of the Gospel challenged by its truth and wondering at God’s limitless love and care for us.
