Tommy and I drove up to Raleigh, NC today. He starts classes Tuesday and gets moved in his dorm tomorrow. Here are my deep thoughts from our Interstate travels today. 1.) Gas is .30-.35 a gallon cheaper in GA and SC than Florida. 2.) There really is a place called Cape Fear and its not just a Robert DeNiro movie. 3.) We passed a trucker that had a big sign on the back of his truck. It said Be a Flirt. Raise your Shirt. I told Tommy if we passed him again to be sure to oblige him. 4.) You are almost to NC when you see South of the Border signs everywhere. 5.) You would have thought as many beautiful day lilies as we saw today, that they would be NCs State flower. They were all over the interstate medians, ramps,etc. They were so pretty! 6.) You are almost to his exit when you see one called Jones Sausage Road.
