Tomorrow is July 13, 2014 which happens to be my 20th birthday! I’ve been asked the same question by a lot of people today: “How does it feel knowing that today is your last day of being a teenager?” Honestly, it feels the same as any other day. Maybe it’s because Im damn busy doing Music, watching cricket & football, and finally university exams starting from 7th August (Porashona te ektu byasto boss :p ) Every year that I grow older, I seem to put a weight and responsibility on whatever new age I’m turning. I find myself determined to raise the bar and rise to the new responsibility that is before me. Something about being called “teen” felt sophisticated, dangerous… exciting! Turning 20, however, feels like a whole other playing field when it comes to a new phase in life. Something about saying “I’m in my 20′s” rings out a new challenge… a new meaning. It floods me with questions like, “What is expected of a 20 year old?” Looking back on my teenage years, however, I realise that I’ve learned a lot. Whether it’s life, relationships, school, college, or anything else, I’ve gained a lot of knowledge between the ages of thirteen and nineteen #Rest_In_Peace_My_Bright_Teenage_Years :)
