( Cebu City Public Information Office) Cebu City Mayor Michael L Rama has clarified in a press conference at noon time today held at the Sinulog 2014 Media Lounge at the Ground Floor of Cebu City Sports Center that it is not a holiday tomorrow January 20, Monday. The Mayor said that he will leave the discretion to Department of Education Cebu City Division superintendent Dr. Rhea Mar Angtud if there will be classes tomorrow especially for those schools used as quarters for Sinulog Festival contingents and those who joined in the festival. Tomorrow, meanwhile, will be the awarding ceremony for the Sinulog 2014 competitions such as the Free Interpretation and Sinulog-Based Categories of the Sinulog Festival, Higantes, and Floats, among others. As the winners for the Sinulog Festival will have their full blast repeat performances during the awarding ceremony, the event will be ticketed and pegged at One hundred pesos (Php100.00) each.
