Tomorrow is the BIG DAY!!!! Around this time last year; the Director of Regional Business Development, Western Canada for the Canadian Liver Foundation came to Winnipeg to meet the previous Manitoba Regional Manager. I was invited to that meeting in hopes that she would see my passion for the CLF and all the work I had put in. Tomorrow she is coming back, but to meet me as her employee. I am positive that because of that meeting it was a huge foot in the door to what I now call my dream career. I am sooooo beyond happy for that opportunity. I am also incredibly thankful to Ruth Magnuson for seeing my potential and love for the CLF here in Manitoba. Tomorrow is a huge day for me because the President of the foundation set up a meeting with a world renowned Liver researcher who is located in Winnipeg. His email to this doctor discussed my passion and love for my job and what I dream to accomplish. I am so honored to know he is proud and impressed with my work. Its like my Psychology prof said. Find something you love, and make a career out of it. Then it doesnt become a job, it becomes a great lifestyle.
