Tomorrow, on October 12th the world-famous landmark Cristo Redentor (Christ the Redeemer) statue located on top of the Corcovado mountain overlooking the city of Rio de Janeiro is going to be 82 years old. This is the largest Art Deco statue in the World and it is largely seen as a public parks monument symbolizing peace.
