Tomorrow the Department of Labor will implement a new Black Lung rule to limit coal dust exposure. This rule is the most comprehensive step toward preventing Black Lung disease in more than 40 years. Now coal miners in WV and around the country can go to work knowing we’ve taken a major step in fighting Black Lung. But this is not the last of the battle -- we must continue to work to make sure our coal miners have the resources and protections they deserve to stay safe and healthy on the job.
