Tomorrow, the anniversary of 9/11...what a day to remember. After - TopicsExpress

Tomorrow, the anniversary of 9/11...what a day to remember. After visiting this sacred place with Savannah Blakely at Christmastime, its hard to ever forget what those involved must have gone through. We walked the streets in December that many had fled from, those streets weve all seen on the news with trails of smoke behind, people running for their lives. Im glad we had the opportunity to walk that sacred ground, and especially moving is the old church across the street that was untouched. Having a son who is a firefighter, it was heart-wrenching to see several fire departments near Ground Zero knowing those brothers were called to serve that morning, never to return to the station, never again to hang up their helmets. Its so sickening to think how this happened, yet scary that it could happen again. Life as we knew it changed forever. Im proud to be an American and thankful God has kept us safe thus far. PRAYERS for all who lost loved ones on 9-11-11.
