Tomorrow will be a bittersweet day for me – it is my last day of work at ProKids. I am fortunate to be able to retire, and I will turn over the HR reins to a very capable replacement, Terri H. There is an Open House for me in the afternoon, and I hope lots of you First Steps peeps drop in to give me a hug and say goodbye. Do you hear me? (I think it is good that we will be flying out Wednesday to spend some time in New Mexico with our kids, so it will seem like a vacation at first!) John and I will keep busy, for sure….and will be taking lots of day trips – especially when we get back in town and the trees are in peak color! So watch for those FB posts! :-D Plus, I’ll try not to gloat when the snow flies and I can stay snug in my home and not have to make that commute to the north side! This book isn’t done, just a new chapter to write. I can’t wait to see where it takes us!
