Tone up your dog walk: Swimming! This is an awesome Pilates move that tightens, tones and works the entire back-side of the body, while lengthening and elongating the front side (...and its an awesome butt-lifter, too!) : ) Here are the variations: Beginner- lay flat on the ground, belly down, arms stretched out in front of you. Begin to lift the right arm about an inch or so off the ground, while simultaneously lifting the back left leg. Lower both back down, then repeat on the other side. Intermediate- repeat the above, only increasing the amount of lift in the arm and leg. Lower back down to the ground and switch. Advanced- repeat the above, switching sides during the lift and without coming back down to the ground. Youre lifted, lengthened and swimming out of water.
