Tonia shared--I guess im a lucky one my husband of 6 yrs has not totally been 100% but, hes hear and tells me everyday he loves me and hes not going no where!!! but at 1st he seemed distance and confused but im a fighter and 5 months after im walking driving, doing everything i did before my amputation... slower but, i get up and move forward and after joining this site my daughter sent to me i see a lot of people have it much harder then me... but u need people around u that r positive and r ur rock to hold on to... sometimes im depressed and sad then i think of children that r worse of then me and others too and i get back to im a fighter and this is not gonna stop me nothing ever has so.... but 2 months before my amputation i had my gallbladder taken out then, 4 days after home went back to the hospital to find i have colon cancer so things can hit you all at once and as long as you believe you will be fine you will be... just got out of the hospital on the 16th after 5 days fighting an infection and now 6 weeks of visits to the infusion center for antibodies so no matter what everyone else does around you .... only u can make ur self happy!!!
