Tonight, FTLOL Midwest wants to thank one of our MANY special volunteers and friend, Jeff Simmons. Jeffs job takes him from Kansas City, MO to ST Louis, every night of the work week. In an emergency Jeff was asked if he could possibly pick up a dog and take her to St Louis to meet transport. That was a little over 2 years ago and now he is always on call. He has stuck with us even though we run him late by taking pictures and crying over the dogs leaving, asking him to call us every 25 minutes to let us know how they are doing and for him to take pictures of the dogs while traveling. He also delivers crates, veggies, something borrowed, something blue and any thing we may throw at him. Over the years he has helped dogs of every age and size and some took quite some maneuvering to get into that truck. Jeff always wears a smile and never a complains as he enjoys helping the dogs move on to bigger and better things. Thank you, Jeff for all you do for us, you truly keep us going over here. :)
