Tonight I am sharing special time with my daughter, Ellen, and granddaughters, Siobhan and Muirinn. I am attending a church retreat and they came along for the ride. The little ladies made me so proud with their sweet manners in the restaurant. Muirinn asked if we would get charged for the extra water if she washed her monkey while she took her shower. Siobhan is acting cool lazing like a preteen while cruising the internet. Ellen is clicking channels on the TV. I am on FB. We are all doing our thing yet we are aware of our love and being together. The kingdom of God is comprised of many folks of many different personalities and cultures, but we all hold in common the love of God. When we gather as a unit, however large or small, to worship, pray, praise, confess, witness, testify...we become as one, the family of God. Thank you, God, for my family - all of them.
