Tonight I am trying something a little different for the family. I pulled a recipe out of the November 2014 issue of Oxygen magazine for the chicken and gravy. It is pretty simple and definitely cost-saving. Reviews will be in after dinner. The Portuguese peas were made with: chili flakes, mint, parsley, cilantro, and lemon juice. I would not cook it as long as I did and not add lemon juice in the future, but still good. This will all be served with brown rice.
