Tonight, I looked at my children, pointed to myself, and said, I - TopicsExpress

Tonight, I looked at my children, pointed to myself, and said, I am the boss. Not because I needed to remind them of my authority. I was out of town last W-Su. And then again this TH-Friday night. Tomorrow morning is Super Saturday for Beachbody. And while sitting in a memorial service today, I had a blinding flash of the obvious. My family needs to see me. The last thing I wanted was to return home late tonight, only to have them wake tomorrow to my being gone AGAIN. I simply shared this with our Pittsburgh Leaders, knowing that theyve got a handle on everything, and that was that. I will not be attending Super Saturday. I will be having breakfast, hitting the farmers market and visiting the traveling Vietnam Vet War Memorial that rode into town this week. Its a weird feeling to to be able to say no to a work related expectation. And yet, that is precisely one reason why I choose to work for myself. My WHY is to provide for my family. Provision includes being present. #boss
