Tonight, I took my little dogs for a walk/jog (the beagle and I wanted a walk; the terriers insisted on a jog) with a Pandora Christmas station playing on the phone in my pocket - wishing my husband could be home with us to take one of the leashes. Im so proud of Travis for making the sacrifices he has made this past year for us as a married couple. I know that I post a lot on Facebook, but there are so many things that I dont share, so its hard to express exactly what I feel about this past year. Lets just say that I was never worried about anything we had to deal with. Ill be spending this weekend deer hunting with my dad. I hope that on Sunday (our one-year anniversary), Ill be doing something cool like packaging up a deer or a wild hog for the freezer so that I can provide like Travis does for us. But, even if Im not doing either of those things, Ill be doing SOMETHING to celebrate our eventful life together. I have a few things planned for when Travis gets home - a few days after our anniversary - so yall better get your phone calls and Facebook messages in before Wednesday evening when hes back on land. Oh - and before anyone gets confused - Im talking about NEXT Wednesday evening. So, you have PLENTY of time to talk to my husband, but when he gets home he is MINE.
