Tonight as I was leaving the Apple store to pick up my repaired computer I felt this Undeniable sence of pride come over me. It was just 3 1/2 years ago that I was living in Dayton Ohio dreaming of moving to California. My goals were to run juice & yoga retreats while helping people get healthy on a global scale. The bigger goal was to continue appearing on TV and eventualy getting a show of my own. In true Cox style once I make my mind up to do something, its done! I packed my entire 5 bedroom home into storage, had my car shipped out, grabed my little furry husband and my hand bag and left. That day was one of the scariest days of my life. I remember getting off the plane at 1am and not knowing how to find my new place. I spent the night in my rental car by the beach. I was so freaking excited just to be in California that I didnt even care:) My first year here I had to call my friends to navigate me on the highways hundreds of times. I had to establish new friendships with strangers as I only knew two people who lived in San Diego. My entire family was left behind and I was doing it on my own. But ya know what....I did it! I did it and I never looked back! Tonight, tears of joy streamed down my face! I realized that I not only know my way around this beautiful town but I also have the most AMAZING group of friends! Ive developed a deeply rooted yoga practice and established myself and my retreats at 3 of the top resorts in the Country! I have paying clients that are THRIVING and love me! My You Tube channel is quickly gaining popularity in just one year and Ive appeared on every news station just like I had prayed for and tomorrow I get to shoot an episode of The Romance TV show! I have sincere gratitude tonight and every morning when I wake up! Im grateful that God lead me down this path and held my hand every step of the way. Im also grateful for my mother who never stopped believing in me and to this day says the same thing she always said to me growing up Andie, you can do anything you want in life if you put your mind to it
