Tonight is the last night Foxfire Mountain welcomes you to join us for a night of tingling tales and hiking by lantern through the moonlit woods. Come listen as East Tennessee’s beloved storytellers, Jim Claborn and Ruth Miller share eerie tales of the Owens family and visit their final resting place at Owens’ family cemetery. Take a trip through time as we weave tales of the once renowned Owens Family. Load up onto our wagon for a ride to the 18th century cemetery. Prepare to be spooked because you never know what’s lurking in the woods. Enjoy S’mores and Hot Apple Cider by our large bonfire on Prosperity Mountain located on the other side of The Bridge to Prosperity: America’s Longest Swinging Bridge. This adventure is not suitable for children under the age of 10 so make sure that all members of your party are able to handle the terror of the woods at night.
