Tonight, right as I sat down in church, I noticed that my $16 bracelet from Buckle that I have only had for 3 days was not on my wrist where it had been when I left my house. After church, I went to the kiosk and asked several people if they had seen one anywhere. Nobody had. A year ago, or probably even 6 months ago, this would have really upset me. I wouldve probably been angry and not listened to a word that was spoken in church because all I wouldve been thinking about was that bracelet. But not tonight. I think God used this to reassure me that I am maturing in Him and beginning to not let the small things get to me. His word says we should be slow to anger(James 1:19) and this is something Ive prayed about for a long time. I just think its really cool how God will use little things, like losing a bracelet to teach you a lesson or give you assurance. By the way, when I got to my car, the bracelet was sitting in my cup holder, still fastened. So there is no way it couldve just slipped off my wrist. My God is good. 💕
